Patricia Forsythe, or “Pat” as her family called her, was born on February 10, 1934, in Los Angeles, California, where she lived happily all her life. On November 24, 2023, the day after Thanksgiving and just a few months shy of her 90th birthday, she was tragically killed by another driver in an automobile accident.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter Susan Giandomenico of Henrico, VA, and son and daughter-in-law Steve and Mickey Forsythe of Torrance, CA; her granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Jessica and Jeremy Yager of Williamsburg, VA, and Jolene Giandomenico and Eric Schurter of Henrico, VA; her great-grandchildren, Elijah and Aiden Yager, and Wes and Lucy Schurter; her sister and brother-in-law Joan and John Rohe of Los Angeles, CA; her brother and sister-in-law Tim and Nancy McAnany of Playa del Rey, CA; her sister-in-law Rosemary McAnany of Simi Valley, CA and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jim McAnany, and son-in-law, Peter Giandomenico.
A service honoring Pat’s life will take place on January 13, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Redondo Beach Center for Spiritual Living, 907 Knob Hill Avenue, Redondo Beach, CA 90277. A light lunch will follow. Please RSVP to Steve Forsythe at (310) 920-1027 or stevef@rmcompany.com.
